Cache Creek Casino Resort to Remain Open and Operational Despite PG&E De-Energizing Due to Weather Event
Brooks, Calif. - Pacific Gas and Electric Company announced today that a forecasted weather event (wind) during the next couple of days will cause the utility company to de-energize its power system in many areas of the Capay Valley, including at Cache Creek Casino Resort. Despite the power interruption, Cache Creek Casino Resort and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation want guests and local residents to know that the casino resort will remain open and fully operational due to sufficient generator power. The peak period of this Public Safety Power Shut Off (PSPS) is expected to be Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon, though the time frame is fluid depending on the weather.
